Commercial Building Design – Shopping Center

This new commercial complex is located on Zhongshan 4th Road, a major thoroughfare running through Guangzhou’s old city district, across the street from the Peasant Movement Institute Memorial Hall. The complex consists of six 35-meter-tall buildings, whose scale complements the surrounding architecture and continues the district’s smaller-scale spatial structure. The pentagonal buildings, arranged in a clustered pattern, enclose a central atrium.
