Hangzhou West Lake Golf Villas

Project Overview

Hangzhou West Lake Golf Villas

Residential Architectural Design — Villa Design

Nestled in the Zhuangtang Villa District of West Lake, the project is integrated with the golf course used for the Hangzhou Asian Games. Set against distant mountains, the design concept revolves around the interplay between water boundaries and architectural edges, embracing the unique texture and wild beauty of the vegetation to create a secluded courtyard realm.

Drawing inspiration from the Prairie School style, the design maximizes landscape connectivity. Low-lying, expansive forms, wide eaves, and repetitive horizontal lines allow the architecture to extend seamlessly toward the horizon. The design emphasizes the proportions and silhouettes of the eaves, while layered horizontal elements unify balconies and courtyards. The entire structure appears to emerge organically from the earth—born of nature, blending into nature—forming an organic architecture that coexists harmoniously with its surroundings.
